How Much Does the NZeTA Cost in 2026?
The total cost of obtaining an NZeTA consists of two components paid together as part of your application:
- NZeTA application processing fee
- International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) — NZD $35
The IVL is a mandatory government charge collected alongside the NZeTA. It funds conservation projects and tourism infrastructure across New Zealand.
What Does the NZeTA Fee Cover?
The NZeTA application fee covers the processing and handling of your application, including:
